In the event of a life threatening emergency or one in which you are in doubt, call 911, or go immediately to the nearest emergency room.
After-hours care ~ Call 503-965-6555, follow the instructions on the message, state your name, nature of the problem, return telephone number, and approximate time you called. If you have not heard back in 20 minutes, please call again.
Emergency Care ~ While we are able to deal with certain emergencies, this is not our primary function. If the nature of the problem is extensive or requires immediate results from blood tests or x-rays, then you need to be seen in the emergency room at either Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital or Tillamook County General Hospital. If time allows, you or someone in your family should call us first, even after hours. If you are not sure what to do, then please call and talk to the nurse.
Hospital Care ~ Dr. Thompson and Dr. Brown maintain privileges only at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City.
You will initially be seen by the emergency room physician who will then contact the physician on call. If you are admitted to the hospital, you will be seen by the hospitalist on call at that time. Upon discharge from the hospital you should be given instructions to follow up with your regular provider. We will be notified that you are in the hospital.
